2016 in Review

I'm not sure what to make of this year. I really don't. I've had so many ups and downs that my head hasn't stopped spinning on my shoulders.

On a happy note the following good things happened to me in 2016:

  • Published Jewels sequel, Jewels: Emerald Rebellion, six years after the debut of the first book.

  • Finally got over my Werelove writing slump thanks to NaNoWriMo and got moving on book 4, Dawn Metamorphosis.

  • After 2 1/2 years of trying to get a part-time job, I got hired for a seasonal position at Target. I'm hoping that my drive and work ethic will change that to a permanent position. Fingers crossed.

Other things that I accomplished in 2016 included getting my health checked. This was only made possible because of my husband's job and access to health insurance that I could use where I lived. Although the news overall was good, I did have to get medicine to control my blood pressure and a couple of diet changes to lower my cholesterol levels.

I'm happy to say that both are much improved and I'm feeling less run down than before.

I want to thank all those who have stayed subscribed to this newsletter and who have given me encouragement. I hope to repay all of it and then some in 2017.
